The Center for Healthy Aging welcomes Dina Refki, DA, for “Together Against Ageism: Combating Age-Based Bias in Albany County, NY,” part of the Aging Well Speaker Series. Dr. Refki will explore how ageism takes shape locally and affects community health and well-being. She will discuss strategies to address age-based bias, the research methods used to evaluate these efforts and preliminary findings that can inform policy, program design and future research. Dr. Dina Refki is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Public Administration & Policy and Director of the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society at the University at Albany.
