About this event
Join the NYS Writers Institute for a conversation with Lois Lowry, one of the most celebrated authors of fiction for young readers and the author of more than 30 books, including the modern classics The Giver and Number the Stars. Lowry will discuss her new novel, Building 903 (2026), the story of a brother and sister struggling to survive in a near-future America where books and basic human freedoms have been outlawed. Free and open to the public.
Books will be available for sale and a book signing will follow the conversation. Cosponsored by the Capital District Library Council (CDLC).
