Dove + Deer

Dove + Deer operates out of an 1854 brownstone at 32 Dove Street in Albany, New York, serving as a neighborhood bar and kitchen. The atmosphere is warm, with crafted pub fare and honest drinks available.

The menu features dishes like chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros, and the Dove + Deer benedict for brunch, while dinner options include peach salmon, clam boil, and the D+D smash burger.

Cocktails named after the year the house was built, such as the 1854, are among the drinks available. Outdoor seating is also an option, and events like live music and themed nights are hosted.

The brownstone itself has a long history, dating back to 1854 when Albany's streets were gaslit. Since its establishment in 2018, Dove + Deer has become a favorite neighborhood spot, feeding both stomachs and spirits, and turning strangers into neighbors.
